OUR VISION
LOVE GOD.
We believe that the most important decision you will ever make is deciding to follow Jesus. The foundation of everything we do is based in our love for our God first and foremost. This foundation allows us to love the world around us and gives us the strength to complete the work set before us.
LOVE PEOPLE.
Jesus instructed us to first love our God and very next on that list was to love our neighbor. The relationships we build as Christians are what create a healthy community around us that give us the ability to reach the world around us. Loving each other is foundational to our beliefs and weaved into everything we do.
EVERYDAY.
Being a part of the body of Christ is not a part-time job. Our identity is rooted in Christ and that means carrying it with us through every single part of our life on a daily basis. We were called to die to ourselves daily and let Christ be our foundation. As a church, we commit to loving God, loving people, and never stopping.
OUR STORY
In 2009, three families came together in the Carlisle home of Pastor Kipp and Dixie Penrod with a dream: to create a church to grow and minister to the every generation.
Life House began in a local skating rink where a small congregation met for two years. Through God’s faithfulness, we were able to purchase our current location on the south side of Carlisle just two years in.
Since then we have been afforded the opportunity to reach not only our congregation, but our surrounding community, and even internationally.
Today, we remain committed to the dream that God instilled in us back in 2009: to foster a church that promotes growth in our Savior and to reach every generation.
OUR PROCESS
WORSHIP.
We believe that a key part to any believers walk with Jesus is getting in a community of other believers and worshipping together! Join us during our weekly services to get closer with God and do it in a positive, upbeat environment.
COMMUNITY.
Don't do life alone! In addition to weekly services, we believe that spiritual growth is done together. Life groups provide the perfect opportunity to learn about Jesus, navigate life, and build each other up through smaller, more focused groups.
SERVE.
Jesus instructed believers not to be idle, and we believe the perfect way to use your gifts and talents is through joining a House Team at Life House. We have an opportunity for everyone to get involved and would love for you join us in our mission!
